There’s a big difference between knowledge and wisdom, and this week Janet Denison of Denison Ministries is joining us to talk about praying wisdom over our kids. Psalm 111 tells us very plainly that wisdom comes by fearing God and following his word. And in a culture that is pursuing worldly knowledge at all costs, it’s a great time to pray for our kids to choose wisdom. And please don’t miss Janet Denison’s great insight into teaching our kids to listen for God’s voice—something I wish I would have practiced much earlier in my faith walk.
Parenting can be messy. There’s lots of amazing moments followed by some really hard times that make it easy to be discouraged if we aren’t careful. Pardon the Mess tackles parenting with honest discussions about the ups and downs of parenting, and the lessons God has taught us along the way. It’s fun, it’s real, it’s biblical, and it’s for everyone!
