Episode 214: Pacing Ourselves – Finishing Well with the Mattsons

It's a new year and new year's resolutions are on the rise – while anxiety, business and lack of clarity are too. What if we committed our year to PEACE and PACE? What if wholehearted leaders took time to assess all of who they are and where they are going? What if we got less busy this year and created margin and white space in our times at work, home, and at play? What if?

Join us as we unpack why white space and boredom are essential to a healthy brain and wholehearted leadership. We also talk about the Core Values Index and how this shapes what our goal setting and pacinging looks like for the year. If you want more peace this year, and less anxiety, stress, and disappointment in what is NOT happening, then listen in. Whether you are a parent, a CEO, a ministry leader or all of the above, this conversation is for you.

And don't forget that our TWO-year Executive Wholehearted Leadership Cohort applications are NOW open for a March 2024 start date. In fact, the Cohort might be the very thing that helps you see long-term shifts in your leadership at work and at home, finding more peace and pace in your life. We'd love to come alongside you! Learn more and apply today at http://www.livingwholehearted.com/cohort

We are Jeff and Terra Mattson, a husband and wife team, and co-hosts of the Living Wholehearted Podcast. We are the founders of Living Wholehearted, a professional counseling, executive coaching, and organizational development firm outside Portland, Oregon, helping leaders live and lead with integrity. Our amazing team of professionals who have excellent character and competencies, are coming alongside leaders in the home, work and community, providing confidential and safe places for leaders, their families, and their teams. We co-authored the book, Shrinking the Integrity Gap: Between What Leaders Preach and Live, and are raising our two teen girls on 5 acres in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. We also founded Courageous Girls, a non-profit dedicated to helping moms walk alongside their daughters at every stage of their growing years (learn more at mycourageousgirls.com). Bridging the gap between Biblical truth, clinical expertise, and trauma-informed relational wisdom, we are currently engaged in executive coaching, organizational development, writing, speaking, and training pastors, counselors and leaders. We believe that when a leader lives and leads with integrity, everyone in their wake benefits. That's why we do what we do. Want to work with us or our team? Email Jeff at [email protected] or Terra at [email protected].

We hope you'll stick around this year and spend some time with us. It's going to be a GOOD year.
