Episode 190: Blindspots: Learning to be a non-anxious presence, listen well and handle interruptions with Jeff & Terra Mattson

Blind spots. We all have them, but none of us want to face the reality of what we are missing unless we are ready to grow and become more wholehearted leaders at home, at work and in the community. Join Jeff and Terra Mattson, co-founders of LIving Wholehearted, authors of Shrinking the Integrity Gap, executive coaches, and co-hosts of the Living Wholehearted Podcast as they talk about the reasons we all need to ask all those in our sphere of influence (especially our spouse and children), “How am I impacting you?”.  And then we need to listen. Jeff and Terra give practical steps to become an effective listener – helping those you serve feel known, seen, heard, and cared for AND giving you the keys to become a more healthy and effective leader. No one likes to have something stuck in their teeth all day without a single person pointing it out. Similarly, learning to receive feedback from those we say we love the most is one of the greatest wholehearted leadership practices we can return to over and over. Tune in and enjoy this candid, practical, and inside track to becoming the leader you would follow at home, at work and in the community.
