Jonathan interviews his oldest daughter, actress and vocalist, Alena Pitts.  In their conversation they define what it means to engage in “soul talk,” meaningful conversations between God and yourself and oftentimes yourself and others. Jonathan shares a story that marked his life that involved Alena after the passing of her mother, Wynter Pitts, and Alena shares her heart, pain and learnings since losing her best friend and mentor.

Jonathan Pitts is an author, speaker and Christian Parenting spokesperson. He previously served as the executive director at the Urban Alternative, the national ministry of Dr. Tony Evans. Jonathan has co-authored two books alongside his late wife, Wynter Pitts, and is the President and co-founder of For Girls Like You Ministries, an equipping and resourcing ministry for tween girls and their parents. Jonathan is the father of four daughters and is engaged to be married to his fiancé, Peta. He hosts The Journey with Jonathan Pitts podcast in the Christian Parenting Podcast Network and recently released his best selling memoir, My Wynter Season: Seeing God’s Faithfulness in the Shadow of Grief.
