Ep. 253 : Recovering a “Fifth Commandment” Culture

The fifth commandment says, “Honor your father and your mother.” Has our culture lost this vision of showing honor to our parents? When a culture abandons the biblical virtue of honoring parents we see families, churches, and nations suffering. In this episode, Dr. Rob and Amy Rienow share biblical principles and historical perspectives on the importance of the fifth commandment and practical ways that we can elevate a culture of honor in our homes and churches. If you are looking for more training and equipping on Christian parenting, be sure to get a copy of Rob and Amy’s book, Visionary Parenting (link). For a comprehensive guide on building Bible-driven family ministry in your church please see Dr. Rienow’s book, Visionary Church.
