In this episode, Dave and Dante hit the topic of fear, shame, and guilt. It’s not the first time the Legacy Dads have talked about these three emotions. And it probably won’t be the last. When so much damage happens because of actions and behaviors rooted in these emotions, it’s important for all of us to continually strive to recognize and react in a way that helps us to lead our families and lives in a manner that ultimately glorifies God. Listen in as the guys discuss some scripture and some recent interaction and how we can leave a legacy protected against these difficult emotions.

Lance founded Legacy Dads in 2005 when he started struggling as a husband and father. Lance has currently spent the last 20 years working in the most elite organizations of the military and government in global crisis response around the world and he continues to teach in this capacity. Outside of his day job, Lance is a speaker, ministry leader, trainer of missionaries, and now an “empty nester.”
Lance believes that strong families = strong churches = strong communities - which ultimately can change the world.
Dante lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three children. Despite his day job on the floor of the CBOT, Dante's heart lays in the church. Dante is currently serving as a church Elder, leading a marriage mentoring small group with his wife, and co-leads the Men's Ministries at a multi-campus church. Dante is also a cancer survivor and avid marathon runner. Because of his strong relationship with his wife and his desire to see his children grow up loving Christ, Dante strives to see the men of the church become strong leaders of their households.
Dante is a father of three in their teens/tweens and is currently “in the trenches” each day as a father.
