These two brilliant women of color, from two different generations, guide us into deeper conversations and increased compassion for all the pain caused from years of racial injustices.  Ebony Clarke, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker who has 20 years of experience working in both publicly funded and non-profit mental and behavioral health arenas including services and supports, leadership, organizational development, people management, equity and inclusion.  She has worked on local, county, and state government initiatives around diversity, equity and inclusion. She has a coaching and consulting practice, raising two sons, Matteo and Miles, and is married to her husband Matt. Julia Adebawo is a Nigerian female leader who now lives in Oregon, where she finished her college degree at OSU. She is passionate about being a voice for her people and has a very unique vantage point I think you will be honored to hear. Steph Thurling is Executive Director of Christian Parenting and host of The Christian Parenting Podcast.

Steph has her master’s in youth, family, and culture from Fuller Theological Seminary and has a background in youth and children’s ministry. She is co-author of Raising Prayerful Kids, a book that shares easy, life-giving, and fun ways to teach kids to pray. She loves helping families grow closer to each other and to God through meaningful experiences and conversations. Steph is a frequent speaker at churches and mom groups and is known for her relatable stories, practical ideas, and gentle encouragement.
