This is part two of our interview with J. Warner Wallace. To listen to the first part of the interview, go here: Legacy Dads Podcast.
Legacy Dads was honored to welcome Detective J. Warner Wallace to discuss the updated and revised edition of his book Cold-Case Christianity. Cold-Case Christianity draws on Wallace’s decades of experience as a homicide detective and the step-by-step, evidence-based investigative process that led him from atheism to Christianity at the age of thirty-five. The book includes real-life homicide cases to help illustrate ten common rules of evidence for how to make a reasonable decision. Wallace shows readers the reliability of the Christian faith through evidence and eye-witness accounts of historical Jesus.
With a master’s degree in theological studies, J. Warner Wallace is an award-winning detective who has been featured on Dateline more than any other homicide investigator. A popular national speaker and podcast host, he is the bestselling author of numerous books including Cold-Case Christianity, Person of Interest, Forensic Faith and God’s Crime Scene. An adjunct professor of apologetics at Biola University, a senior fellow at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, and a faculty member at Summit Ministries, Jim and his wife live in Southern California.

Lance founded Legacy Dads in 2005 when he started struggling as a husband and father. Lance has currently spent the last 20 years working in the most elite organizations of the military and government in global crisis response around the world and he continues to teach in this capacity. Outside of his day job, Lance is a speaker, ministry leader, trainer of missionaries, and now an “empty nester.”
Lance believes that strong families = strong churches = strong communities - which ultimately can change the world.
Dante lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three children. Despite his day job on the floor of the CBOT, Dante's heart lays in the church. Dante is currently serving as a church Elder, leading a marriage mentoring small group with his wife, and co-leads the Men's Ministries at a multi-campus church. Dante is also a cancer survivor and avid marathon runner. Because of his strong relationship with his wife and his desire to see his children grow up loving Christ, Dante strives to see the men of the church become strong leaders of their households.
Dante is a father of three in their teens/tweens and is currently “in the trenches” each day as a father.
